World press freedom day.

Today (3rd May), is world press freedom day. To mark this, the Council of Europe is launching an online discussion forum on media freedom.
The forum, for both journalists and anyone else concerned about freedom of expression, will center on how journalists do their job in the face of government restrictions during wars, terrorist threats and political instability.
Freedom House have also released a 'Freedom of the press survey' that is well worth the read.
